Community Guidelines
Last Updated: March 27, 2026
TCG Trax (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is building a trustworthy space for collectors. These Community Guidelines explain what we expect from everyone who uses our website (https://tcgtrax.com), our Apple app, and related features (the “Services”). Today the Services focus on accounts, collections, and public profiles; you can connect with friends, but there is no in-app messaging or chat. We still moderate what people show on the platform—especially usernames and profile fields—and how features like friend requests are used. These Guidelines work together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you break these rules, we may take action on your account—typically by asking you to change your username or profile details, or by removing your account after notice, as described in section 4. We do not temporarily suspend accounts as an enforcement step.
1. Usernames and public identity
Your username, display name, or any name shown to other users must be appropriate for a general audience and must not mislead others about who you are.
Do not choose a name that:
- Is sexually explicit, graphic, or suggestive, or references sexual acts, anatomy, or fetish content
- Contains slurs, hate symbols, or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or other protected traits
- Threatens, harasses, bullies, or encourages harm toward any person or group
- Impersonates another person, brand, company, or official TCG Trax staff or support
- Promotes illegal activity, extremism, self-harm, or dangerous behavior
- Contains excessive profanity or shock value intended to offend
- Uses misleading spelling, spacing, or Unicode characters mainly to disguise the same prohibited meaning
We may ask you to change a name that violates these rules, or take other account action consistent with our Terms.
2. Account behavior
Use the Services fairly and respectfully. The following is not allowed:
- Creating fake, duplicate, or misleading accounts, or misrepresenting who you are
- Sending friend requests or connection actions in a disruptive or abusive way (for example, spamming requests or using them to bother someone)
- Exploiting bugs, attempting to bypass technical or account limits, or interfering with the Services or other users' accounts or data
- Using the Services to threaten others, organize harm, or promote illegal activity
- Abusing support or feedback channels (for example, flooding or bad-faith reports)
TCG Trax is for tracking and enjoying your collection. Do not use accounts or features in ways that undermine trust or the normal experience of other collectors.
3. Profile standards
Profile photos are not something you upload. You pick from artwork and options we provide in the app. Those choices are still part of your public presence, but we control the image set—so moderation for photos is mainly on our side, not yours.
Editable profile text—such as a bio or any other free-text field we expose—must stay appropriate for a general audience and meet the same spirit as the username rules (no sexual or hateful material, threats, impersonation, or deceptive claims). Display names are covered in section 1.
- No offensive, sexually explicit, violent-for-shock, or hateful text in profile fields
- No impersonation of other people, companies, or TCG Trax staff or official channels
- Do not use brand names, taglines, or other wording you are not entitled to use in a way that confuses others or infringes intellectual property
Pokémon and related trademarks belong to their owners; TCG Trax is not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak, or The Pokémon Company. Do not imply official endorsement in your profile.
4. Enforcement
We review reports and account information and may use human judgment and any technical measures we put in place over time. Depending on severity and whether violations continue, we may:
- Issue a warning or require you to change your username or profile fields
- Remove or restrict public profile text or reset profile choices where required for safety or legal reasons
- Remove your account. We do not use temporary suspensions. When removal is appropriate, we will notify you at the email associated with your account; unless we tell you otherwise in that notice, we may remove the account within forty-eight (48) hours after we send it (for example, if you do not fix a required rename or repeated violations leave us no reasonable alternative).
Where practical, we will try to be fair and proportional. Nothing here limits actions we are allowed to take under the Terms of Service.
If you believe action was taken in error, contact support@tcgtrax.com from the email associated with your account and include your username and a short explanation. We cannot promise every appeal will succeed, but we will review good-faith requests.
5. Changes
We may update these Guidelines as we add or change features—for example, if new social or sharing tools are introduced. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Guidelines.
